The day before May Day, the Islamist Erdoğan government made 84 arrests in several cities in Turkey.
Our Patronsuz Dünya’s comrades inform that Kadir Çınar is one of the victims, he was arrested home in Bursa on the night of 29th Apil.
Kadir is a worker (cook), a labour activist (he is a union representative in Dev Turizm İş), a revolutionary and an internationalist.
He has been accused by the police of referring to Trotsky and of spreading his ideas in the social networks. On the 2nd of May, the court decided to have him detained. He is incommunicado.
Freedom for Kadir Çınar, for all the prisoners of the workers’ movement and of the Kurds’ movement! Neither penalty nor criminal prosecution!
